Driver Door Open Lose Audio

I have a 2016 Ford Explorer and the door chimes every time the drivers side door is opened, whether the engine is running or not. After installation, I've noticed that the audio for the drivers side door goes away when you open the door to allow for the door chime to chime. After the chime ends, the audio is restored.

Is there a way to resolve/fix that, so that the audio doesn't go out when the door is opened?

We have noticed some audio mixing issues with the Kenwood amplifiers and door chimes and are looking into it.

Update: We only completely cut the audio out of the driver's door when there are two chimes happening at once, like door chime and parking sensors. Are you sure that you're losing ALL audio from that speaker? It should be muting it and cutting the music volume down about 50%, not muting that channel completely (unless you have multiple warning chimes happening at once).

If the driver's door speaker is completely muting, can you take a video of it, and also send us a screenshot of how the outputs of the amp are configured on the Kenwood app?

Are there any updates on the sound issues?

Not yet. The engineer that writes this firmware is on vacation and will not be back for about a week.

I am having the same issue with my 2017 F250 with Sync 3 and the Kenwood amp... Has the engineer figured out an update?

I don't recall receiving this information... Could one of you send a video and a screenshot of your amp configurations to support@idatalink.com so I can show the engineer what it's doing?
