Dodge Durango Park Sense

Post by unit836 » Sat Jun 29, 2019 9:25 am

I have a 2015 Dodge Durango which I have just installed the DSR1 using the CH2 T-Harness. I have factory front door speakers connected to lines 1 and 2, factory rear door speakers on lines 5 and 6, and subs running on lines 7 and 8. Bluetooth is working well for both music from my phone and phone calls, as is satellite radio. I unfortunately can no longer hear my rear park sense warning tones. When I am close to an object the music fades as it is supposed to, just no tones. Also I do not have tones when I touch the 8.4 touchscreen as I used to. Any thoughts on this?

There are a total of 3 updates when you use the DSR1; The vehicle specific flash, the 'embedded device' flash, and the update from Rockford Fosgate's site for their board. Have you done all three updates?

Have you tried adjusting the parking assist like we talk about in the install guide?

CHIME ADJUSTMENT
This is only needed when the vehicle supports chimes (ex:
Parking assist, Blind spot detection, Lane sense, etc.).
• Set the audio source to OFF (if there is no way to turn the
radio OFF, set the source to AUX).
• The OEM radio will have 3 volume settings for parking
assist (Low/Med/High), it is recommended to choose
medium volume.
• Activate any chime (ex: rear parking assist).
• Adjust the chime volume using the volume knob
