Can't change the fuel tank capacity

Post by tabascojoe »

2012 Toyota Camry - 6.1" no JBL
Kenwood DNX996XR

I was able to set the fuel tank capacity initially
My best guess to what size the tank was off
no big deal, I'll just go in to the fuel setting and change it, only problem... the option to set the level is now gone.
All the other gauges have the options still there, just fuel is missing its options.
Is this normal, and how can I reset it?

Hi,

Tank capacity setting should be located under this menu path on your Kenwood:

Settings > AV > Vehicle (Or OEM) Setup > Maestro Features > Gauges > Gauges Global Units > Fuel Economy > Tank Capacity.

Thank you!
It was in the location you submitted. Whats odd is it was in the gauges menu than disappeared...
I'm guessing its a bug in the Kenwood software.

Glad to hear it's working! I believe initial setup it does prompt, but afterwards, to change it, it's a little different to access. Either way, have a good one!
