Just installed a new JVC with the MRR and CH3 harness. Followed the directions to the tee, but getting a battery drain. Going to try and pinpoint the wire tonight, but asking if there are any known issues that may point it to me quicker?

Help is greatly appreciated!

Can you confirm- you should be using the CH1 harness with this vehicle.

There are no known issues with current draw in this platform; is there anything telling like the radio staying on with the key off?

My apologies, it is a CH1 harness. As far as I can tell, there is nothing telling the radio to stay on while the vehicle is off. All of the functions work perfectly and it goes on and off with the vehicle. I am also using the AV CH-1 harness as well (not sure if that matters). The only thing I switched on the harness was the green/white connectors to show it was a non amplified system. There is no amp, I installed plug and play. I saw some other threads about the OBD connection causing it so planned to check there first with the meter, but other than that, was going to test wire by wire.

Thanks,
Justin

This is a relatively popular platform and we haven't had any reports of current draw on this firmware, so some testing will definitely be in order. It could be defective hardware, but it's hard to rule out the radio and maestro without first taking measurements.
