2012 Silverado No Turn Signal with Sat Radio

Post by billbro88 »

Installed Maestro RR with GM5+ and Kenwood DDX9905S. Everything working well except when playing factory satellite radio the turn signal sounds are not present. Turn signals work when other audio sources are playing.

This is normal. We are not able to simultaneously generate both the satellite radio and turn signal click and mix them. It is a hardware limitation of the Rr.

That what I guessed based off other posts. Any future products cover it. If not I'll get a Kenwood sat receiver.

If you do get an aftermarket tuner, you will also get more information than the factory tuner did, as well as album artwork, etc. The factory tuner only relays the info originally passed to the factory radio, to us, although more information is broadcast to the newer aftermarket tuners.
