Call tech support. They do not deal with consumers directly. As i said before, the forum isn't real time. A tech can get directly with an engineer.

Factory security is testable. Roll down the window. Press lock on the door with the door open and close it. Wait three minutes and open the door from the inside. Does the alarm go off?
Yes = Then it has an alarm.
No = It does not have an alarm.

Remove the T harness and see if it makes a difference. I have no other reported issues like yours on this vehicle.

I would like to say thanks for your help Murph I really do appreciate it. I ended up removing the T-harness and doing a hardwire which solved the problem and worked perfect. Does this happen more often that the T-harness does not work correctly? It just sucks doing the work only to have to do it again. LOL But I really like the remote starter though.

The next question I have might be for another topic. Is there a tool that one can plug into the antenna cable to make feature changes with out removing the brain?

Also can a Compustar RF-2WG9-SP be connected to the HC series remote starts? If yes is there an area that explains this?

It's rare that T harness fail but yes, it happens. I prefer hardwire myself. I trust my own connections but that is my 2 cents.

The HCF is the compustar version of the product. It uses Compustar remotes. The HCX, HX1 and HX2 are Idata remotes only.
