no audio from Onstar or XM radio

Post by greaseman1969 »

Installed the Maestro RR and GM5+ with Pioneer 7200nex into my 2012 Chevy Impala with Bose system.
Everything is working great except I have no audio output from Onstar or factory XM radio. The head unit shows each of these on the display when requested but no audio output. The audio cable from maestro to aux input of pioneer head unit is attached and i have chime and turn signal audio working.( nothing is connected to the pioneer w/r). I also rest the maestro from the head unit.
I am at a loss?
Any ideas? any help?
Thanks,

Which version of the Bose amplifier was equipped in the vehicle? Was the Amplifier removed or are we retaining it? Do you have the SP1 speaker installed too? Did we make any changes in the maestro settings?

kept Bose amplifier. And all I know is that it is analog. Yes, sp1 installed. When i flashed maestro I chose to keep both onstar and xm.
they both work on the head unit, but no audio output.

I found this to be my mistake....did not have one of the maestro connectors plugged into the maestro properly. It all is working properly now. 'My Bad'....I did not mean to waste your time, but thank you very much for your posts and for this forum.
