2010 Kia Soul, Eincar Stereo, using Maestro SW. Need help!

Post by lordofconfusion »

I have a 2010 Kia Soul. I'm installing an Eincar Android double din Stereo. I'm using the Maestro SW for the steering wheel controls. My issue is, I have already programmed the control box. I have all the wires hooked up according to the diagram. The Stereo does not have a 3.5mm jack so I have to hook up the blue and yellow wire instead. I don't have a blue and yellow wire on the stereo harness so I don't know where to hook it up? Any wire I hook it up to, the box light just blinks anytime I push any button on the steering wheel. I don't know what to do? Help please?

What kind of steering wheel input does the Eincar have? Is it an analog input, like Key 1 and Key 2?

On radios like this, we don't officially offer support.

You can try using either the red or white (or both) to key 1 or key 2 BUT you will have to modify the sheathing on the 3.5mm jack to access these wires.

It'll likely end up with some combination like below:
Red key1 + white key2
White key1 + red key2
white key1
red key1

And then program on your radio, there should be a Set Wheel or SWC option to learn each button press.
